1) What this covers
How we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you use PropEase, our sites and related services.2) Personal data we process
- Account data: name, email, password hash, country/region, preferences.
- Usage & device data: app version, device/OS, crash logs, diagnostics, IP (coarse geolocation).
- Deal data: addresses/postcodes, notes, images you upload, and other inputs you provide.
- Support & comms: messages/emails, feedback.
- Payments: plan, transaction refs via our payment partners. We do not store full card numbers.
- Website data: cookies and similar tech (see Cookies).
We don’t intentionally collect special category data or children’s data.

- Directly from you.
- Automatically via the app/site (analytics, logs).
- Third parties where lawful (app stores, payments, analytics).
4) Purposes & lawful bases (UK GDPR)
- Provide & secure the service (account, authentication, hosting, backups, anti-abuse): Contract, Legitimate interests.
- Improve & debug (analytics, crash logs): Legitimate interests.
- Support (respond to queries): Contract, Legitimate interests.
- Billing & taxes: Contract, Legal obligation.
- Marketing (updates/tips/offers): Consent or Legitimate interests (with opt-out), subject to PECR.

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw at any time.
5) Children
PropEase isn’t directed to children. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we’ll take appropriate steps.6) Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us run the service (hosting, storage, analytics, error logging, communications, payments), with professional advisers and authorities where legally required, and in connection with corporate transactions. We do not sell personal data.7) International transfers
Where data moves outside the UK/EEA, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., UK IDTA or UK Addendum to the EU SCCs) plus additional measures where required.8) Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to comply with law:- Account data: life of account + 12 months after closure.
- Deal data: while account is active (you can delete items); backups roll off after 60 days.
- Logs/analytics: 18 months.
- Billing/tax: 6 years (UK).
